Navarre sits on Santa Rosa Island between Pensacola Beach and Okaloosa Island, with far fewer people on the sand than either.

Navarre Beach sees a fraction of the crowds you’ll find in Destin or on Pensacola Beach, so your ceremony photos show the water, not strangers.

Navarre Beach Pier runs more than 1,500 feet into the Gulf. I hid underneath it in a hammock to photograph my brother-in-law’s sunrise proposal, and it’s still one of my favorite shoots.

Santa Rosa Sound gives you calm water and soft evening light. The Gulf gives you surf and white sand. They are only minutes apart.

Navarre is about half an hour from my base, so there’s no travel fee and plenty of flexibility for early starts and late send-offs.
