Table of Contents

Supposey Warehouse & Gardens is a wedding venue at 101 S F St, just west of downtown Pensacola. You get a walled garden for the ceremony and a white, light-filled ballroom for the reception, on one property, so guests never get back in their cars. Nick and Amanda got married there on September 21, 2026, and I covered the whole day in photo and video. Here’s how their day came together, what makes Supposey work so well on camera, and what I’d tell any couple touring it.

I’m Korbin, the photographer and videographer behind KDH Weddings in Pensacola. Supposey is one of my favorite places to work in the city, and this wedding shows why.

Heads-up for anyone searching: the Pensacola News Journal reported in September 2026 that the same team is building a second space, the Supposey Ballroom at Granada Square on East Cervantes Street. Nick and Amanda’s wedding, and everything in this post, is at the original Warehouse & Gardens on South F Street.

Getting ready: the staircase shot

Supposey’s bridal suite has a sweeping white spiral staircase with a gilded oval portrait hanging above it, and it is the shot every Supposey bride should ask for. Amanda came down it in her dress while I stood at the bottom with a wide lens. The white walls bounce soft light everywhere, so getting-ready photos come out clean and bright even on a cloudy afternoon.

Amanda’s hair and makeup were by Beauty by Carol and Kendra K Beauty, and Basil & Peach Beauty did the bridal party’s hair. Hair and makeup running on time is the single biggest thing that keeps a wedding day on schedule, so build in a buffer. More on that in my wedding day timeline guide.

The garden ceremony

The ceremony garden is the reason most couples book Supposey. Guests sit on either side of a gravel aisle, framed by old oak trees, a black iron gate and walls covered in ivy. It feels tucked away even though you’re minutes from Palafox Street.

The Beach Preacher officiated. From a photography point of view, three things make this garden easy to shoot well:

  • The aisle is long and straight, so the processional and the recessional get clean, symmetrical frames from the back of the aisle.
  • The trees filter the late-afternoon sun, so faces stay evenly lit instead of squinting into direct light.
  • There’s a second angle behind the arch, so a second shooter or a video camera can catch faces coming down the aisle without being in the guests’ way.

Portraits with parasols

After the ceremony we used the round brick steps and the lawn in the side garden for the wedding party and couple portraits. The bridesmaids wore sage green and carried white paper parasols, and those parasols did two jobs. They looked beautiful, and they shaded everyone’s faces from the September sun while we worked through the group photos.

If you’re getting married at Supposey between May and September, plan on shade for portraits. In mid-September Pensacola’s sunset is around 6:54 pm, and golden hour starts around 6:23 pm, so a 4:30 or 5:00 ceremony leaves you time for family photos and still gets you back outside in that softer light. My first look guide covers how to split portraits before and after the ceremony.

The reception: a white ballroom that photographs like a studio

Inside, Supposey’s ballroom is white from floor to ceiling, with wooden beams overhead, crystal chandeliers and strings of lights. There’s a raised stage at one end. Nick and Amanda had giant marquee letters with their initials on it and did their first dance right in front of it. Culinary Productions catered dinner.

White rooms are great for photos and video because the light is even and skin tones stay true. The one thing I watch for is the dance floor at night. Once the house lights drop, I add off-camera flash and use slower shutter speeds, which is where the motion-blur dance photos in this post come from.

Cigars, a packed dance floor and the exit

The party was the kind where nobody sits down. There was a cigar break, a dance floor that stayed full, and a send-off back down the garden aisle under the string lights.

The details

Amanda’s invitation suite, her shoes and the rings got their own flat lay before she got dressed. I always ask couples to set these aside in one box so the details are done in 15 minutes.

Tips for a Supposey wedding

  • Book the staircase shot into your timeline. It takes five minutes and it’s the most “Supposey” photo there is.
  • Plan shade for summer portraits: parasols, the tree cover on the lawn, or portraits after 6 pm.
  • Use the whole property. Getting ready, ceremony, portraits and reception all happen on site, so you lose no time to driving. A 6-hour package usually covers everything from getting ready to the send-off.
  • Ask about the send-off. The garden aisle under the string lights makes a great exit path. Check the venue’s rules on sparklers first.
  • Book video for the ceremony. The garden is quiet, so vows record cleanly, which isn’t true of every downtown venue.

Where is Supposey in Pensacola?

Supposey Warehouse & Gardens is at 101 S F St, Pensacola, FL 32502, just west of downtown and a few minutes from Palafox Street. The Supposey Ballroom at Granada Square, reported by the Pensacola News Journal in 2026, is a separate space on East Cervantes Street.

Can you have the ceremony and reception at Supposey?

Yes. The garden holds the ceremony and the ballroom holds the reception, so everything happens on one property. Nick and Amanda got ready, got married, took portraits and partied without leaving.

Is Supposey good for photos?

Very. The walled garden gives you shade and symmetry for the ceremony, the side lawn and brick steps work for portraits, and the white ballroom keeps skin tones true. The bridal-suite staircase is a signature shot.

How much photography coverage do I need for a Supposey wedding?

Most full Supposey weddings fit in 6 hours ($3,000, with a second shooter), from getting ready through the send-off. Smaller weddings or an elopement in the garden can work with 3 hours ($1,500).

What is the best time for a Supposey ceremony?

Aim for about 90 minutes before sunset, so portraits land in golden hour. In Pensacola that’s about 5:25 pm in mid-September, 6:20 pm in mid-June and 5:30 pm in mid-March.
