Holland Farms is a family-owned farm and agritourism destination at 2055 Homer Holland Rd in Milton, Florida, known for its flower fields, fall pumpkin patch and corn maze, and it also offers special event rentals. Jacob and Angelina held their wedding there on November 5, 2025, and I photographed the day from the dress to the dance floor. Here is how it came together, and what to know if you are weighing a farm venue near Milton for your own wedding.
I’m Korbin, the photographer and videographer behind KDH Weddings. I cover weddings across the Panhandle with no travel fees anywhere I work, and a farm like this one is a great place to shoot. There is open sky, tall trees and a field of color a few steps from the ceremony.

Holland Farms is first a working farm that welcomes the public, so ask the family how a wedding day fits around their public seasons. They are the ones who can tell you what is included in an event rental.

Getting ready
Angelina’s lace gown with long sleeves hung in a window with sheer curtains before the day started, and her bouquet was one of the most colorful I have photographed: red and orange roses, yellow sunflowers, blue-green foliage and long trailing amaranth.

A ceremony in the woods
The ceremony was under a timber-frame pavilion set in the trees, with a brick paver aisle leading to it and dark wood folding chairs for guests. Flower arrangements in the same red, orange and yellow sat at the base and top of the posts. Bridesmaids in navy and groomsmen in gray stood on either side, and a few of them held white paper parasols.
Jacob wore a burgundy jacket with light trousers. That rich red against the green of the trees and the warm timber made the photos easy to love. The leaves overhead gave soft, even light on the faces, which matters when a couple wants to see every expression.

Portraits in the flower field
Of everything on the property, the flower field is what I would point a couple toward. We walked out into it as the light softened, and Angelina sat down in the middle of rows of red, orange and pink blooms with her bouquet. Jacob spun her around in her dress. We also made a few black and white frames out there, because the open sky and the two of them walking away make a simple, timeless picture.

The barn reception
The reception was in the barn at Holland Farms, with warm wood walls, string lights wrapped around the posts and chandeliers overhead. Jacob and Angelina’s first dance was a close one, and Jacob laughed out loud partway through. The cake was by Ceejays Sweets: a tall white tiered cake with a cascade of red, orange and yellow flowers running down one side, matching the bouquet.

Then the dance floor filled up. Guests in burgundy and navy, a groom in motion and a friend in sunglasses with both arms in the air. A barn with a concrete floor and plenty of room is made for this kind of party.

Friends, a mirror sign and a blurry kiss
Two of my favorite frames are not portraits at all. The first is the wedding party crowding into a full-length mirror sign that reads “Our Wedding,” with me in the reflection. The second is a long-exposure black and white of Jacob and Angelina kissing while their navy-dressed friends blur past.

Tips for a farm wedding near Milton
- Build in portrait time for the field. A flower field is a backdrop that needs 20 to 30 minutes, and the light is best late in the day. Our wedding day timeline guide shows where to put it.
- Pick colors that glow against green. Burgundy, rust, navy and gold worked here. Our guide to the best months to get married in Pensacola covers how the seasons change the look and the comfort level.
- Ask about the farm’s calendar. Holland Farms runs public events like its pumpkin patch, so confirm what happens around your date.
- Plan for the walk. A ceremony in the woods and a field for portraits mean guests and shoes should be ready for grass and pavers.
- Bring parasols or fans. The white parasols at Jacob and Angelina’s ceremony were practical and photographed beautifully.
- Use the barn lights. String lights and warm wood make reception photos glow, so keep the overhead lights low.
