Hidden Oak Farm is a private wedding venue on 78 acres in Milton, Florida, just outside Pensacola. It has a covered Orchard House, a lodge, ponds, wooded ceremony spots and overnight stays on the property. Josh and Haley got married there on October 4, 2025, in sage green and white, and I filmed and photographed the whole day. Here is how it looked, what I would tell a couple touring the farm, and who made the day work.
I’m Korbin, the photographer and videographer behind KDH Weddings in Pensacola. With woods, ponds and a lane all on one property, Hidden Oak Farm gives a wedding a lot of variety without leaving the grounds.

Space details come from the venue’s own website. Check with the farm for current capacities and what your package includes.
The website lists the spaces you can choose from for the ceremony, photos and celebration: the Grand Oak, the Pines, the Orchard House, the Lodge, the Tree Lined Drive and the ponds. Josh and Haley were married in the pines.

Getting ready and a moment back to back
Haley did her final mirror check in a gold oval mirror, veil on, laughing. Hair and makeup were by Glam on the Go, and the mirror shot is the kind of quiet frame I look for in the last 20 minutes before a ceremony.
Josh and Haley then stood back to back outside before the ceremony, next to a wall of vines and a clipped hedge. Josh’s suit was the same sage green as the bridesmaids’ dresses.

A ceremony in the pines
The ceremony sat in a stand of tall, straight pines. A simple wooden arch with white drapery and a cascade of white roses and greenery stood in the middle, with rustic wooden benches on either side and pine straw underfoot. The trees do the decorating. You barely need to add anything.
Florals were by Hummingbirds Flowers & Events. Chelsea McBrien coordinated the day, and I was glad to work with her again after Nick and Amanda’s Supposey wedding. A planner who knows how a day moves across a big property keeps everything on time.

Tall pines give soft, even light, so faces stay clean and there is no harsh sun to squint into. The long vertical trunks also make a calm backdrop for video. If you are choosing a ceremony site, think about that as much as the arch.

Sage green, rust and white
The palette was sage green with rust accents: green suits and dresses, white shirts, rust-colored suspenders and ties, and white florals. It looks right against pine straw and dark trunks. When the wedding party made a hand tunnel for Josh and Haley, the bouquets and the arch were right behind them.

Portraits down the lane, and under the veil
A wide dirt lane lined with trees runs through the property, and we used it for portraits. It has open sky at the end and a pond in the distance, so the frame stays airy. For a few shots the veil came over the two of them and I moved in tight, then kept those frames in black and white.

The reception
After dark the party moved to a white building draped in climbing vines, with string lights overhead and candlelit tables with white linens. Haley changed into a short white dress for the dancing. The Thirsty Ranch ran the bar, The Cutting Board catered, Craft Gourmet Bakery & Commissary made the cake, and DJ Mikey Sears of Making Memories kept the floor moving. Josh and Haley were right in the middle of it.

Tips for a Hidden Oak Farm wedding
- Walk the property at your tour time. With 78 acres you can pick from several ceremony spots. Ask to see them at the hour you plan to marry.
- Plan golden hour for the lane. In mid-October, sunset in the Pensacola area is about 6:18 pm. A ceremony around 4:00 or 4:30 leaves room for portraits before dark.
- Pick colors that suit the woods. Sage, rust, cream and white all read well against pine and green.
- Bring a planner. A property this size runs smoother with someone who knows the ground. See my wedding day timeline guide.
- Think about staying on site. The farm offers lodge accommodations, which can make getting ready and the morning after simple.
- Tell guests about the drive. Milton is outside the city. Put directions and parking on your wedding website.
